Prices in USD. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies. Payments are processed by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Open-source projects and educational institutions use AI Council for free: apply here.

Every plan includes

  • Project graph and knowledge baseLinked to modules and functions, scoped to git branches.
  • Team rules and diff checksMUST and SHOULD rules reach the agent before it edits; the diff is checked for violations.
  • MR review against your rulesGitLab merge requests and GitHub pull requests.
  • Project chatFor developers, analysts, QA and support.
  • Ticket analysisGitHub Issues and Redmine.
  • Agent integrationsClaude Code, Codex and other MCP agents through hooks and MCP.
  • Metrics for engineering leadersSee how agents use project knowledge and rules.

What you pay for separately

  • LLM tokensYour agent keeps using its own model and API key or subscription, billed by the provider. We add no markup. AI Council sends the agent only the context it needs, so it tends to use fewer tokens.
  • Your own modelYou can run Claude Code with another model, including an open-source model on your own servers. Then there is no token bill at all.
  • Servers for self-hostingFor a team of up to 15: 16 CPU cores, 64 GB RAM, 200+ GB SSD, no GPU. That covers AI Council itself; a self-hosted LLM needs its own hardware.

Billing questions

Who counts as a user?

Anyone with an AI Council account: developers whose agents are connected, and analysts, QA or support people who use the project chat. Projects and repositories are unlimited.

Can I change the number of users?

Yes. Add or remove seats at any time. Paddle prorates the charge for the rest of the billing period.

What happens when my team grows past 10 users?

From 10 users you move to Standard at $20 per user. Past 50 users, message us and we will set up Enterprise terms.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time from the link in your Paddle receipt or by messaging us. You keep access until the end of the paid period. See the refund policy.

Who handles invoices and taxes?

Paddle is our reseller and merchant of record. It issues invoices and receipts and charges sales tax or VAT where required. You can add your company name and tax ID at checkout.

Do you train models on our code?

No. AI Council does not train models. Your code and knowledge base are used only to serve your team. Details are on the security page.

What happens to our data if we stop?

We help you export the knowledge base and rules. If you self-host, the data never leaves your servers.

Set it up on one project first
