Installation

Cloud, self-hosted, or air-gapped.

Cloud

Nothing to install. We create your company workspace and an administrator account. The administrator adds users in the account menu → Users & Access.

Self-hosted

Server requirements

  • CPU: 16 cores
  • RAM: 64 GB
  • Disk: 200+ GB SSD
  • No GPU needed

These figures are for a team of up to 15 people and cover AI Council itself only. If you run your own open-source model in an air-gapped environment, it needs separate resources, usually with a GPU.

Installation steps

  1. After purchase, you receive a license key together with the installation guide.
  2. Install AI Council on your server following the guide.
  3. Open the web UI at the server address and sign in as administrator.
  4. Connect a forge, create a project and run analysis: see Quickstart.

Air-gapped

Installs with a license key and no internet access. Workstations don't need internet either: hook packages are downloaded from the Council server. The model side runs through the Claude Code CLI, connected to an open-source model on your own servers. The offline installation guide is sent together with the license key after purchase.
